I had to say goodbye to my beautiful girl Daisy today. She was the best dog ever and a wonderful friend.

I spent this past week building a new chicken coop and run. Still a few finishing touches needed but overall I'm very pleased with it.

Finally finishing up the Stargate staff. Using a RP2040 Prop-Maker Feather from Adafruit to power everything (it's such a neat little board). I've never used CircuitPython before, but I really like it so far.

Movement is done using a linear servo hidden in the staff- it sits in the copper tube right behind the staff head.

I finally caved and bought a little welder for my home shop. It's so tiny!

Pretty crazy that you can buy a lift arc/stick TIG machine with cables and TIG torch for $113 shipped.
