I can't remember where I read it or even if I just imagined it, but there was a story about Mike Mignola drawing some comic and he was lamenting about this shipwreck scene and having to draw all these things like ships and drowning horses and he was like "I just want to draw rocks and monsters"
I have never felt that more. May we all just be able to draw our rocks and monsters.
