Some new-to-me Kenmores on the bench today. All metal. I'm told they're like Bernina, but without the pricetag. I'm excited to get them fixed up!

A Singer 66 and a 15, treadles, need torn down/serviced/cleaned up.
..but I think I'm gonna tackle this nice vintage edger in need of repairs that someone gifted me, first. 🐱 My lawn is overdue! ..and I can't resist vintage/antique fix-ups. I swear, I'm gonna get around to some sewing projects soon..
Next on the agenda .. Morse, Necchi, Singer .. they will all live again!
Resurrecting thrift store finds is a strange addiction.
Just finished servicing a Husqvarna Viking #1+ 300th Anniversary Edition Sewing & Embroidery Machine (with the gold emblem!).
Would love to keep it.. it sews as smooth and beautiful as can be. Unfortunately, too many ponies, not enough stables. 🤦♂️
I'll probably let this one go up for auction starting at $1 on eBay, tomorrow. 🐱 It used to cost around $2,500..
Well, yesterday, the OTHER Singer 15-91 I was trying to restore .. someone decided to cut directly into the motor coils, making the thing virtually useless. 🤦♂️
So, today, I brought this Blackside 15-91 back to life. Motor rebuilt, rewired, new wicks, cleaned up, motion restored. It will happily live on being used well in it's new home (here). 🐱
I'm live streaming the repair of a Singer 15-91 Sewing Machine that needs cleaned up, gone through, and the motor rewired at a bare minimum. Also testing my new Peertube setup, so I can stream live without supporting YouTube. 😀
