it truly boggles the mind that the mastodon devs don’t want stuff like this over here
man i love this guys app but europeans really cannot comprehend that the us has more and better food than europe. i don’t understand the need for them to lie to themselves about this! its some weird nationalism nonsense.

the follow buttons in the official @Mastodon app haven’t worked for two weeks?+

maybe the devs are using other apps?

how is this not already a thing in australian law 0_0. #auspol

it’s not even remotely surprising that white peoples are responding to the csam thing with conspiracy theories.

it’s like white people when they respond to something being called racist. it’s responded to as if their whole existence is being discredited when really it’s just “we can do better”

what. the. fuck.

mastodon boosters thinking they’re superior to bluesky is like when overwhelmingly white places say “we don’t have racism here” urghhhh

but i’ll be honest though. anyone without a phone compatible website instantly makes me (genuinely) judge them
even with hashtags, god, fuck #mastodon

this tweet would look so awful and i would’ve likely never seen it if i didn’t use a client that support quote tweets, i just can’t believe that most mastodon users don’t have it!

I for one am glad there might be a four month or greater window for #Threads to interoperate with the Fediverse. Give us a bit more time to build out features like these: #ActivityPub #MastoDev #Fedidev https://indieweb.social/@tchambers/110695857032251476

but let’s say you’re a bit curious despite that lacklustre description and you click try it.

still no description of what it is. just straight up talking about servers. why would you bury the lede like this #friendica

have you noticed whenever you search for #Fediverse applications - they don’t really describe themselves ? or even if you read their websites. just vague “social” descriptions

wait. no. the ones that refuse to compare themselves to a more well known equivalent i mean.

like imagine seeing the word “friendica”, wondering what it means and then seeing this on their website
