I'm a major fan of classical music, especially the music of Anton Bruckner and Gustav Mahler. I do like all kinds of music but especially find my mental peace and space in classical music.
Hello Mastodon!
Three months ago I left Twitter and have been without a text-based social media in my life.
Recently I have realised that I miss having a place to share what I’m working on and what I’m excited about
I’m trying to make more healthy choices about how much I use social media, but I want to be able to have this outlet as well as my podcasts.
So from now, you can find me here!
Thank you for bearing with me, and being interested in what I’m doing.
I appreciate you.
🤓✌️
Apparently Marjorie Taylor Greene screamed and cursed at Biden administration officials during a closed-door briefing
Her tantrum was because she was upset the Chinese spy balloon wasn’t shot down over populated areas or something
I have seen comments from people saying they feel bad for her because she obviously suffers from a mental illness
No.
Being a garbage person doesn’t mean it’s a mental illness. Stop using this as a blanket excuse
Some people are trash.
Honestly, it don't matter what Desantis bans. They never taught us the truth at any point in THEIR schools anyway. Fuck his bans.
It's your responsibility to build the library your kids need in your house. Buy your own books. We know our history and don't require their approval to teach OR learn it. You don't have to force it on the young. Just put it there. Their curiosity will win out.

For all the people out there — politicians, pundits, prosecutors, all of them — breathing a sigh of relief because Trump appears to be politically doomed anyway, so no need to go after him any more…
For all those people, I will say this again, very slowly:
There are a whole lot of would-be authoritarians out there
who are not nearly as stupid as Trump
and are watching Trump very carefully:
not whether he succeeds in toppling our democracy,
but what ••price he pays•• for trying.

Marjorie Taylor Greene literally just claimed that one school in Illinois received “$5.1 BILLION” to teach “equity and diversity".
$5.1 Billion dollars would entirely fund 250+ public schools on average.
These people are nuts.
Hi! If you're promoting car-reduced/more walkable areas in cities, or any designs/research around that, can you please consider if what you're posting is accessible?
Because I don't think I've seen this *month* someone post anything on walkable cities that I thought could be used safely by someone in a wheelchair. Anything. That's how bad it is. And likely we'll all end up needing a mobility aid at some point in our lives, so why not design for our own futures?
