@lupestripe Funny enough I set mine in the 1980s because I think there's not a lot of works set in that decade, which is a period I find very interesting. IRL it wasn't a great time for LGBTQ+, but I set them in an alternate universe which does give me some wiggle room but I still tackle those issues because I think it's important to do so.
That's why my protagonist is a freelance investigative journalist. He gets to see these problems and write about them whilst having more editorial freedom. Working in a fairly liberal newspaper helps too, but not always. He's had some clashes with his editor-in-chief because of scoops the latter didn't want to publish. But it's the best newspaper in town so that's where he works, even though he's a freelancer.
Sorry for this wall of text.
@Bwee I'm not really a fan of coffee if it's just coffee. Too bitter. But if you add milk and a good amount of sugar then it's a different story.
As for hot chocolate, that's one of my favs.
@Bwee You always look cute. But you do look cuter loafing on a hoard of plushies.
Can I loaf with you?
@Bwee Likewise, friend. Likewise.
I hope you have a wonderful day too.
@Bwee It's funny you should say that, because the same thing, or something similar, happens to me too. I see the user in relation to their pfp.
That's why when someone changes their pfp, at first I have a hard time working out who they are because I recognized them by their old pfp and if the new one is very different then I might not recognize them at all, as if they are a complete stranger.
And just like you said, I see them by the critter they use on their pfp. That's how I imagine them to be like, even though I know that's not the case irl. It's a strange thing.
Also sorry for this wall of text.
