As a Georgia resident and Atlanta native, I would say that you are looking at it wrong.

The close race shows that 2020 was no fluke and that the state is truly purple.

In the coming years, the Atlanta metro area will continue to grow and further outnumber the rest of the state, and at least statewide elections will trend more and more Democratic.

We are in a transitory period that will soon pass.👍

I agree with you.

However, even with me being a "tech guy" I can see that there is still a good bit of evolving that has to happen to make finding people across federated servers easier.

But, I have no doubt that as usage grows, it will draw in more developer interest for both the core software and tools/plug-ins.

Are the server settings visible anywhere?

Because that seems like a pretty big deal to think that a message is private when it's actually not.

Private 1-to-1 messaging is a fundamental functionality every platform should have, with the exception of admins for very clear and narrowly defined reasons, like investigating harassment or illegal activities.
