Last year I got an award for my musical work for the 1st time, which arrived recently in form of this nice plaque. I had the great task of contributing to Dave Schoepke's 3rd solo album looking for the best possible sound during the final mixing/premastering.
Dave won 1st prize from the Wisconsin Area Music Industry jury for the best "World, Unique Album."

OUT NOW: Lindbergh - Loopy (djummi.36)
Lindbergh is the name of the music project that occupied Dresden-based songwriter Andreas Schulze in the 2000s.
djummi has just released a collection of tracks called “Loopy”, some of which Lindbergh released as vinyl singles or hadn’t released at all. They date back to the band’s early years. Now, Lindbergh is available online for the first time.

AWARD-WINNING WORKS
2 releases I contributed to last year won the WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) Awards in various categories. Dave Schoepke's album "Sun Will Follow," for which I pre-mastered and mixed the track "Hopefuel", was picked for "Best World, Unique Album".
The track "The Quiet Quiet" from felsteg's album "Hold", for which I mastered, was chosen for "Best Latin, World, Unique, Spoken Word Song". felsteg consists of Dave Schoepke and Matt Meixner.

NEW MUSIC: suralarm - train of thought
Please check out suralarm, the new project by Dave Schoepke and me! We created 4 tracks together and just released them as an EP on djummi-records. The music lies somewhere between indie, krautrock, prog rock, and ambient.
Working with Dave was a lot of fun! I'm happy to have explored new musical territories through this. Our music means a lot to me!
