I read a book again, at last! For someone who does this for a living, I seem to be doing awfully little reading at the moment. âHow High We Go In The Darkâ was absolutely spectacular, if incredibly dark at the same time, all while being hopeful and bright as well.
Follows interlinked stories over a period of 100 years set in a dystopian future â a study on the overwhelm of existing in a dying world. Hard recommend.

I get deeply furious about all the times medical professionals have accused me of lacking the willpower or being too lazy to lose weight, when after two months of Semaglutide for an unrelated issue Iâm suddenly seeing 30lbs of unintentional, non-dieting weight loss. Itâs almost as if weight isnât a result of character, but dependent on medical factors.
