This week I've worked on button bindings and glyphs. These are dynamic, so if you change bindings it will reflect in the UI, and if the gamepad is unplugged it will fallback to keyboard binding glyphs. DualShock, XBox and Steam Deck controllers will be supported. #screenshotsaturday #coilbound

It was quite a while since I posted here last, but I've started working on a new game! It will be a kind of roguelike /mystery dungeon themed experience. I’ve been on the lookout for a portable emulator device with hardware buttons for a while, and on a whim I placed an order for a Miyoo Mini Plus. What I received turned out to be an entirely different brand and model (Anbernic RG35XX Plus) which was a bit disappointing, but it seems to work so far! So now I’m replaying Diablo 1 (PS1 version). I’ve replaced the stock SD cards which seems to be a regular point of failure, but we’ll see how long it lasts as the build quality is fairly poor..

While trying out the Trials of Mana demo I noticed to my surprise that you can set both voice and text to Japanese! I might play this game just for the practice 👍
