Just getting to the end of ‘What is the what’, a quite extraordinary fictionalised autobiography of one of the ‘lost boys’ that fled the war in South Sudan. It is not an easy read in parts, parts of it are very bleak, harrowing even. But there is lots of hope, dignity and courage, too.
