Day 1: I’m trying to stay positive. I have two weeks until my first exam. ⌛ I just started studying today. It’s not that I didn’t want to; the past few weeks were filled with work and family obligations. I needed to work, or I wouldn’t be able to pay the next university fee. My sister was in a bad place, so I wanted to dedicate time to her rather than studying. But now, I feel the anxiety kicking in. 😰 What if I don’t pass? I worry I would disappoint everyone.

Hi, I'm a student. I'm using this profile to journal my journey as a student while tackling life. I'm 22yo and have a rather difficult situation in my family right now. I need to financially support my family, finance my studies while trying not to neglect my girlfriend and my family (so dedicate time to them). I do not want to complain, but I do have some days filled with anxiety where I ask myself if I'm good enough and if I deserve my girlfriend and my family. I'm scared to lose it all.
@paul_ward_irl @ueeu It's very simplistic to say he is "in support of Trump", from what I've been able to find on the subject. He seems to have said that one of Trump's appointees was well qualified to lead anti-trust initiatives. He posted a lenghy explanation of his stance which was convincing to me.
Trump is crazy, but it is really mature and professional of someone to be able to put all personal feelings aside and reason racionally.
Thought I'd comment since I misinterpreted his tweet too.
@TaruViero @antonyh I would like to recommend /e/ OS. It's degoogled Android and has a very easy to understand interface. The App-Store has both F-Droid (open source app store) and Play Store apps with a privacy rating. The only "hard" part is installing /e/ os. But if you're interested in a Fairphone anyways, you can order one with /e/ os pre-installed! Hope this helps

@gommehammer @ente absolutely agree! I love what they are doing, you could say I became an ente fanboy over the last few months. But I asked myself as well when the F-Droid version was going to drop. Will the F-Droid updates always arrive later than the normal Android ones @ente?
@[email protected] @ddnnacheta @Vanstra @collectifission @Tutanota its not something trivial. I am using /e/ os and I am happy with the way it is. I would never go back to iPhone just for that. But it would be nice to have 🙃
@[email protected] @ddnnacheta @Vanstra @collectifission @Tutanota second and my favorite reason is that back when I had an iPhone the gallery created automatic videos of your memories. With normal photos it never turned out as well as with live photos. It automatically used the motion part of the photo so the photo moves. That made the video more interesting

But basically when you take a photo, the camera automatically takes a short 3 second video that is incorporated into the photo. When you then hold down on the photo the "video" will play. This is nice because sometimes you take a photo something funny happens and you weren't able to catch it with the photo, the video did tough.
@collectifission @[email protected] @Vanstra @Tutanota I only heard good things about the Fairphone. And a nice + is that almost all privacy respecting OSs (except Pixel specific OSs) support the Fairphone and will probably provide support for much longer than other phones.
