Just heard a religious person coming at games again saying that Roblox and Fornite make kids feel they have all the power, pushing them away from God.

Bad parenting, culture, and society does that. Not games.

Former Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct player here. I hate violence or even the idea of physically fighting another person because they said something I didn't like.

Not because of my experience with games, but because of my experiences with people.

Focus on the right issues.

Self-criticism and perfectionism can be good things depending on the context. But most times… they're just bad.

One of the main issues with “improving” tech, really just making things faster and stronger, is that open source software should be accessible to anyone.

But, in making these “improvements”, they become less accessible because the hardware requirements are being raised, which means less people can actually afford to even try free software if they won't run or even install.

I hope open source creative app devs realize this is a factor. A HUGE one.

Prices increase quickly, but salaries don't.

I fear that, out of convenience and privilege, people are more likely to continue to adopt and employ the evil or unethical actions and practices of billionaires than to persecute them or get rid of their class entirely.
