@gilad73 @Sheril Sorry to disagree. I read the book. It said that tumor cells were routinely collected from all patients without consent. At the time, it was assumed no one wanted to retain control of their cancerous tumor cells. Yes, cells were propagated in the lab, but I don’t find this comparable to Nazi experimentation. It would be more comparable to taking DNA from fingernail clippings. It only became an issue after the HeLa cells were found to be “immortal,” and monetized.
