@lucasrappo presents his work about the land market in Lausanne in the 19th century.
Source: two cadastral maps, from 1931 and 1888, that he datafied.
By comparing them, he can identify where the city expanded.
From there, he could go back to the register of the land plots, and obtain a network of who sold which land to whom in the areas where the city expanded.

The International Historical Network Research Conference (HNR2024) takes place in Lausanne next week (July 8-10 2024). The conference features 45 papers and 3 keynotes highlighting the contributions of network analysis to historical disciplines of all periods. The book of abstracts is available for download on the website and on Zenodo.
With my colleagues @GrandjeanMartin and Aline Johner we are organizing a workshop on historical networks in Lausanne.
This will be a great opportunity to see how network analyzis cab be used for historical research.
