Democrats have no instinct for exercising power after being trained for decades to work through the courts.

The courts are gone - taken over by our enemies who disdain the very concept of rule of law.

The only time Dems now manage to think creatively is coming up with reasons why other forms of exercising power would be problematic or impossible.

For scale, Congress' appropriation allocates as much in direct lethal aid assistance to #Ukraine for the whole of 2023 as Elon Musk lost in personal wealth on *checks notes* Tuesday.

He talked about electric cars. I don't know anything about cars, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.

Then he talked about rockets. I don't know anything about rockets, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.

Now he talks about software. I happen to know a lot about software & Elon Musk is saying the stupidest shit I've ever heard anyone say, so when people say he's a genius I figure I should stay the hell away from his cars and rockets.

If they are willing to give Bari Weiss access to everyone's DMs, the Saudis already have them as well. If you are a reporter, you are not safe on Twitter and need to find a way to leave immediately.

NEW: Elon Musk sent a Signal message ordering his staff to aid in the Twitter Files: "please give Bari [Weiss] full access to everything at Twitter. No limits at all.”

That triggered a frenzy inside Twitter, which was under a decade-old FTC order. IT staff refused to onboard Weiss, worried Twitter would be breaking the law.

Days later, two executives were fired.

"These guys did amazing damage,” a former employee told me of the Musk subordinates running the company.

Twitter brings Elon Musk’s genius reputation crashing down to earth

Musk went down conspiracy rabbit holes and sank Tesla's stock with his behavior. And he was confronted with a chorus of boos in the cradle of the tech industry.

It's hard to overstate the extent to which the FBI-Twitter-Hunter Biden narrative promoted by Musk depends on narrative over evidence. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/12/20/twitter-fbi-story-relies-far-more-insinuation-than-evidence/
The Twitter-FBI story relies far more on insinuation than evidence

What's been revealed is vague or clearly innocuous. What's presented — and therefore believed — is far more shocking.

For thousands of years, fermenting beer was considered a household task for #women.

By the Middle Ages, some sold beer at English markets. Female brewers wore tall, pointy hats to be easily spotted. They stood by cauldrons & often had cats to keep mice away.

Sound familiar? It should.

You see, when male brewers felt threatened, they accused the women of witchcraft. These rumors may have led to some witch iconography we still recognize today.

Women used to dominate the beer industry – until the witch accusations started pouring in

Today, beer is marketed to men and the industry is run by men. It wasn’t always that way.

If you let any story cut through all the Twitter noise today, please let it be this:

In the Southeast, power company money flows to news sites that attack their critics

Alabama Power and Florida Power & Light hired the consulting firm Matrix to help shape their fortunes. Matrix funded six sites that covered politics, filling a void left by the decline of local news.
