These 2 screenshots are 1 minute apart, after leaving the tab open on the Steam
web browser. I was showing a friend that they started putting banner ads between
comments now, and then more popped up. Reminds me of ROM sites in the early
2000s.

I get sent a lot of videos. I tend to view them in browser, without an account,
and even use services like proxitok when possible. The other day, I noticed
tiktok refused to play videos in Firefox mobile. I switched to desktop mode and
got the same result. It seems like Meta rushed to copy their bullshit. They
couldn’t even create a proper pop-up. “Unknown error” keeps popping up a split
second after hitting play. I’m sick of these companies actively taking steps to
make the internet more unusable.
