Dan GillmorMusk and his minions have reinstated the account of one of the nation's most prominent bigots. This is not remotely surprising to anyone who's paying the slightest attention.
I remain surprised, and disappointed, that so many people in the journalism world still choose to use that platform -- knowing that they are supporting people who want to see the U.S. become a right-wing dictatorship.
Journalism has options, but most journalists ignore them.
Julian SanchezSTOP USING “REFUTES” AS A SYNONYM FOR “DENIES.” I just saw a headline claiming George Santos “refutes” new allegations against him. Needless to say, he hasn’t refuted anything. He’s denied allegations, and is almost certainly lying. Sloppy usage misleads readers.
