There are a lot of great things about owning a car, but "airport parking for five days costs the same as an Uber one-way" is up there.
@asya Also, I feel like anything can be used as harassment. I've blocked people on the bird site simply because it's weird how they're always retweeting me.

Last toot: AGREED. I miss the quote tweet - it was a way to boost the OP and engage with them at the same time.
Tim DunlopWhat is the logic of there being no "quote tweet" equivalent on Mastodon? I vaguely remember seeing some explanation, but I can't recall. I'm sure there is a reason, but I must admit, I miss the option. I know it can be misused (what can't?) but I use it a lot on Twitter and it is a good way to enhance/develop and share something someone else has said.

@prk For the record, I used it for a few hours, but the narrow columns (which I couldn't widen) annoyed me.
I definitely didn't have "Tumblr sees out the year with an academic fight over soy sauce" on my bingo card ... and YET somehow it fits...
