Memo to a popular local jewellery company re: an item in their holiday range -

It's called a menorah, not a "holiday lamp"

There are a lot of great things about owning a car, but "airport parking for five days costs the same as an Uber one-way" is up there.
Last toot: AGREED. I miss the quote tweet - it was a way to boost the OP and engage with them at the same time.
What is the logic of there being no "quote tweet" equivalent on Mastodon? I vaguely remember seeing some explanation, but I can't recall. I'm sure there is a reason, but I must admit, I miss the option. I know it can be misused (what can't?) but I use it a lot on Twitter and it is a good way to enhance/develop and share something someone else has said.
Anyway, curious why it doesn't operate here.
I definitely didn't have "Tumblr sees out the year with an academic fight over soy sauce" on my bingo card ... and YET somehow it fits...
APPARENTLY instead of my blorbo angst, my therapist wants to hear about my "complicated family dynamic" LADY I'VE BEEN AVOIDING THINKING ABOUT THAT FOR 40 YEARS, WHY DO I HAVE TO *touches earpiece* Oh. I am learning something about the purpose of therapy.
Have my first therapy appointment today, and I cannot wait to explain what a blorbo is, or that I am still sad because my favourite character was killed off in 2019.
The columns are very narrow and I cannot seem to change that, but I'll get used to it!
A thousand thanks to @asya, who told me I can get columns by going to preferences > appearance > enable advanced interface

NEVER MIND, IT WAS MY BROWSER

but seriously, is there a Mastodon equivalent of Tweetdeck?
