World's largest battery facility is on fire.

Uhhh, I have a strange request. If you own a bread knife with a flat-sided handle in your kitchen, and calipers or something else that will measure to the nearest millimetre or so, and want something to do for 30 seconds, could you tell me how thick the handle is?
Yes, I'd like to collect some random samples of bread knife handle widths. Doesn't matter what brand, what it looks like, how long the blade is or where in the world you are.

I wish that twitter archives contained the thread for replies, or at least the parent post.
I have a lot of replies that make no sense without the context of other tweets. I often don't remember exactly what the topic was, or why my comment meant anything.
A lot of time was spent crafting tweets over the years. It's sad to lose that info.
Even if an archiving tool can grab all relevant threads, those threads are quickly disappearing. Many people have now deleted their accounts or went private. Conversations are often missing half the content.
I don't want to name names and get in a fight, but platitudes from straight, white, affluent men that "we'll get through this" are extremely tone deaf and unhelpful.
Don't do that shit.
Reminder: Masks protect against all types of airborne viruses.
If another pandemic starts, masks will be a key first line of defense, especially as we won't have a vaccine right away.
SMS Spam?
If you have root on Android, you can read and modify the SMS blockednumbers.db. Its in sqlite3 format. Use adb. Make a backup copy. Share blocked numbers with friends.
I used a simple script to extrapolate (and block) 300 likely spam numbers for an initial test.
