Do people seriously not realize how using "reality check" is a giveaway of AI slop? Or is it they are fully automated bot accounts?
If you're on #Linux and use Acestream, check out aceplay! 🐧
It’s a CLI I built in #Go using @charmcli that lets you open any Acestream link from your browser directly in your favorite media player. 📺
📦 Arch users: It's already available in the #AUR!

Soo wii-u devkits have the ability to read files from the PC rather than their own internal NAND (in fact the default mode reads every file from the PC all the way from boot1->files on disk).

Well now that i've figured the basics of it out, enough to unbrick them, the question had to be asked.... is it possible to mount the ENTIRE developer CDN? Turns out..... yes (it took 30 minutes to fully load the title list).

Also because it's all networked traffic, we can mount the entire developer CDN while only downloading about ~750mbs locally.

I'm looking for new employment opportunities. Tips, leads, intros, or whatever are welcome.

I got a pair of Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, and I've been trying to run its firmware in the Android Emulator:

My script to repack the firmware:
https://github.com/zhuowei/meta-rayban-firmware-android-emulator

I got the firmware by capturing the network call to fetch updates when I paired my real glasses to the Meta AI app:

Currently, in the emulator, the homescreen opens, just like the real device. However, most features just tell me to pair with the Meta AI app, which I haven't gotten working yet.
@zhuowei Knowing the comms are encrypted I'd say Frida may be a good fit, since you can try to look for where the BLE comm is implemented (at the Android API level), and "throw an exception, with stacktrace" to see which functions call it, hopefully finding like that the one that contains the frame before encryption. Hopefully they don't implement a Frida/root detection tho
Totally don't email [email protected] asking about the broken contractual obligation to open source Nova Launcher.
That would be sooooo bad to do!!!
Don't mass email the corpo who bought out Nova and directly killed it, think of the poor CEO of branch (who also said they were going to open source Nova if they lost all full time devs)
definitely don't do that. Totally not. That would be awful. To see one of the most powerful android launchers get open sourced. Wouldn't that just be terrible? Who wouldn't want a piece of Android history and the life's work of a small band of devs to be left in obscurity...

🔐Tomorrow: I'll share some new info on Android's upcoming sideloading restrictions.

There's some good, some bad, and some confusing news.
