For the first time in almost 3 years I am not using Aarch64 as my main development workstation. It is strange, but I have to say the @Minisforum_DE V3 may be the perfect mobile developer platform.

I am contemplating the possibility of having a completely fanless home office now....well except for my scope

This is more likely all temporary, or maybe not, as it will be joined by our own Ryzen hardware either as mITX, or our passive BedRock solutions.

even after building all night I am under the 92C core limit, and able to boost to all core 4GHz, where I used to be restricted to about 3.2-3.3GHz all core with the stock solution. The internals including the SSD are also much much cooler. Overall the fan noise is also much more tolerable at full bore.

Now I just need to model and 3D print some proper adapters to replace the duct tape prototyping :)

Upgraded my x86_64 build machine a bit ago with a Beelink SR6 Pro (Ryzen 7 7735HS). While the mini-pc form factor is convenient I have been doing lots of long builds and was starting to heatsink the machine and lose performance. Yesterday I decided to fix the problem and modded in an old Noctua LH-9Hi ultra low profile cooler, and a couple of 120mm fans on the top and bottom to create a bottom to top wind tunnel. Now I am no longer getting thermal restricted and just bouncing off the 45W PPT
