Getting in the experts to try and negotiate with a spicy brick. Anyone Infos on ninebot BMS that talk canopen? I can read voltages/current/temperature but not turn on the output.

Turns out you just need to pull the detection pin high. But on the plus side I now know what nearly all the canopen objects do. Nice to turn the pack on/off and get diagnostic like temperature, cell voltage, state of charge, current, ...
Oh that looks like some stuff is working. The first nozzle check was completely blank. So maybe it's just not getting ink. But my ink levels are super low.

Every time I need to do something with USB I want to build a device that just does everything wrong or just a bit wonky. And then give it one to everyone. "No it's not a USB Killer, but do you want to see kworker die, xhci control to leave the pcie bus, all USB to slow down to modem speed? It will do it all. What you say there are no errors in the log? Ah but does your mouse still work? No? To fix it? Well just prowercyle everything"
