@nyca @kura Yea there was a Russian swimmer recently who unfortunately lost his life. It's mostly benign but there are varied currents, it's very busy with traffic with anything from tiny boats to humongous cargo vessels constantly moving about, and it can occasionally get wild.

Fun fact, my grandpa is rumoured to occasionally swim across the Bosporus, but he's one of those guys people like telling badass stories about so idk if true.
