@gnyman @riskybusiness @metlstorm so many security scorecards/benchmarks are based not on what signals risk, but on what is easy to measure

@shlee thank you for your service

Despite lots of trends from 2020 coming back, it looks like spending a bunch of money for JPEGs on the blockchain isn’t one of them.

The NFT fad was definitely an “emperor is wearing no clothes” moment in tech.

@shlee if you really wanna get mad, I recommend reading the submission from the "Age Verification Providers Association". It's exactly what you'd expect. In fact, with even more phrenology-level science than you might expect
@liamvhogan "is The Economy in the room with us now?"
@thomasbeagle @glasnt if a speaker has a "questions or comments" section, sure. If it's a Q&A section and you're giving a comment, regardless of how short or your level of expertise, you're failing to follow instructions and being a jerk. If you have some great insights you want to share with an audience, submit a talk like the actual speaker did

This is your perennial reminder that if you're at a presentation, and a speaker asks for questions, please ask a question. A question ends in an inflection and a question mark.

If you want to chat with the speaker, wait til their off stage. They'd love to chat with you! But please respect the time of the audience and ask thoughtful short questions while the speaker is on stage, and have conversations later.

The fact that Satisfactory isn't nominated in any category for Game of the Year #TheGameAwards is a massive miss. It's a 10/10 game. Perfect example of how the early access can be used to release an incredibly polished 1.0 release
