@frenck first tip. Set the speed to insane. It's not much louder but it's so fast when opening.
I tried opening the door when frigate detected a known face approaching but it was too inconvenient when working in front of the door.
Right now I have no active automation with the door lock anymore.
@ToolsWiki it's quite the good rifle. Just annoying to find. And I proceeded to lose mine immediately after due to just dropping it through the moon surface when picking something up. The usual

Generally these devices come with Sunspec or Modbus, either via TCP or Serial, which is well supported by most home automation platforms. Just make sure the spec for the Modbus API is public. You can check places like the docs.evcc.io for supported devices.
When the installation happens make sure the electrician enables the APIs.

I always wanted to test these but I was hesitant so far due to the price, different voltage and halved capacity. But the unholy stack of coin cells in the basement does irk me.
Do you have any comparison in regards to runtime with these yet?

But I also use both of them without any issues instead of creating my own.

@ryan I have been running mailu.io for a good 6-7 years now with great success. Like 20 odd users and it does use rspamd.
