People come to Japan for food but honestly home cooked food in Japan is a whole other vibe and I’m all for it.

Not sure if it’s A) I’m getting older or B) I’m more content with my current family life, but I’ve made a few realizations.

1. My tolerance to spending time with people I don’t like is at an all-time low.
2. My tolerance to being in a crowded space is absolute zero.

Maybe it’s time to move out of Tokyo? Though I still cherish the convenience and the abundance of delicious eats.

I’ll revisit this topic soon.

Now we have a system with a more or less neutral state, giving out currency and collecting taxes.

There is work that needs to be done and money is an incentive system.

But some perverted the rules of our economy and make disproportionally much money from owning stuff.
They don't need a neutral state.

Competing cryptocurrencies are a hyper-excessive version of this. HODL what you own.

@molly0xfff I'm a crypto cynic, but the AMEX one kind of sticks out IMO, given that one of the primary complaints about crypto is how godawfully slow it is.

With this offer you get the benefit of financial transactions handled at speed by a competent processor AND accrue BTC on the back end effortlessly*. I suspect this grift might have some legs.
