Happy to share our latest study on (Un)intentionality bias in action observation! We found that people perceive ambiguous actions as intentional—especially when posture aligns with the goal. This bias shifts with schizotypal cognitive traits.

Attributing intention is not automatic — it may be shaped by both perceptual cues and individual cognitive style. This has big implications for how we understand social perception, Robotics, and AI.

🤖 New Study on how people perceive Humanoid Robots!

How do we distinguish between humans and #humanoid robots?

We tested if #Humanoid #Robots are perceived more like a human or an object.

Understanding a humanoid robot is not just about seeing a human-like shape, it is also about integrating the details that tell us it is not alive.

Are humanoid robots perceived as mindless mannequins?

The shape and texture of humans and humanoid robots provide perceptual information that help us to appropriately categorise these stimuli. However, it…

We present #recommendations and a clear #pipeline for handling #random effects in the presence of non-convergent and singular models. No more reduced models causing first-type errors due to data pseudoreplication!
