Preprint Friday. This is a big one (for me). Rob Ward and I present the ICON model - a working computational model that aims to integrate reesarch in social cognition with principles from domain-general control.

Preprint: https://psyarxiv.com/jzucy/

The entire model is written in R and feely available on GitHub: https://github.com/rich-ramsey/icon-model

Big thanks to Rob Ward - he is the brains behind the computational operation. I just made the plots look prettier.

As always, we welcome constructive feedback.

If you like trams, mountains and cognitive neuroscience, then come and do a postdoc with me in Zürich...

I wrote a blog post about Bayesian estimation approaches to multi-level regression. It's aimed at newbies to estimation approaches. But it works perfectly for everyone who can't sleep at night.

After 107 tweets in nearly six years, I feel I have exhausted the potential that twitter has to offer and so here I am. I expect I’ll be as prolific on mastodon as I was on twitter, so I’ll see you again in six months time.

In the meantime, I have started a blog about meta-science, data analysis, cognitive neuroscience and my love of David Bowie. If you’re having trouble sleeping, then take look here: https://rich-ramsey.com/posts.html
