Arguing with the receptionist (after switching from French to English, cause my French is no match for their stubbornness) was like:
"You can only have what's there (fruit + baguette), vegan is too complicated!"
"I ordered vegan breakfast in advance, just some hummus or vegetable spread would be nice"
"Well we only have some vegetarian options, you can get a refund for the breakfast"
"So you're not trying to improve your offer?"
"No!"
Trying to be vegan/plantbased, forced to be baguette and "well there's fruit".
