Here’s Day 7 (aka the final day) of what is now Clothing Week! Niki seems to have been tied up, though I’ve decided not to continue this challenge. It was fun drawing all these cute outfits and such, but I wanted to do something that I could learn more off of than this, such as practicing animation or following art tutorials. It wasn’t really like Kinktober, where I was able to practice how to sketch my desired poses. I already feel proficient in that. So, I’ve decided to think of other art-related things to do now.

“Soooo, how do I look? I’ve never been in fancy parties before…”

Here’s Day 5 of Clothing Month! Here, Quill is looking really stylish thanks to that one dress. I really like how they look, honestly. I wanted to give them an even more humanoid appearance compared to before, and their redesign is a solid improvement.
Wonder how that dress that I’m seeing on so many drawings on e621 got famous in the first place, though. I guess it just looks nice. I had fun seeing how Quill looked with it on, especially as something that looked really different from other dresses, and maybe other artists have felt the same. Something similar must have happened with the virgin killer sweater because it objectively makes you horny.
Also, I’m thinking of doing yet another thing next month, where I take art lessons every day. Seeing keke’s tutorial on how to draw pecs has me impressed with how much better I can make my characters look. Their chests are looking more defined than before when following it, and it will only get better with practice. So, I’m interested in relearning the basics, finding tutorials to follow in order to get better at art.

Here’s Day 4 of Clothing Month! This protogen honestly looks stylish in that bikini, even in the fall season. Hopefully, she lives somewhere that’s still warm after summer, though.
Also, it’s been a really neat learning experience drawing a protogen for the first time. I should get around to drawing more species besides foxes, cats, and dogs more, especially when I actually like drawing other species.

Here’s Day 3 of Clothing Month, featuring Yari in what is called a “backwards” Virgin Killer Sweater. I don’t see many artists draw it often, and even then, there’s yet another version of that sweater. However, the sweater that I saw in mikeyama’s drawing looked really cute to me, so we should be drawing it more often.

Here’s Day 2 of Clothing Month, starring my fursona wearing Pleroma-tan’s outfit! It’s just something that had to happen, with how much this neat software has influenced the culture of Fedi. It demonstrated so effectively how far even the already effective federated internet could go. Many people could easily build their own communities, with how easy instances using it were to deploy and run. It was light on resources, it was simple to compile, it allowed admins to effectively moderate with MRF policies, and it was just designed well. I remember how it got me using alt-text due to the option for it just being below the image when every other platform hides it away in a menu, for instance. So, I just needed to give honors to it, even if I’m now a Sharkey user.

Also, it’d be something that you all in this instance (which runs on the Pleroma fork Akkoma) would enjoy.

Here’s Day 1 of a new drawing challenge I’ve come up with: Clothing Month! Here, I will be drawing a unique piece of clothing on a character, whether they are/used to be trending or they just look neat, every day. Although it’s for practicing with drawing fashion, I also thought it’d just be fun to draw the various neat-looking clothes that I see characters wear in other drawings. 
Also, I’ve made their eyes more square-ish than elongated. It’s subtle, but I feel that I like that new look more. Not sure why. I’ll do this for more characters, though.

Here’s a really cute drawing of Poppy, but this time, as a shark! It was a cool idea I stumbled upon while talking to a fren online about this sona. She honestly fits so well as a shark. Every trans person loves sharks, and I stan Sharkey sm. I’ve also tried to smooth over my shading. It’s not perfect, but still, I think it’s important for this piece. I want to get better at shading, and this includes being able to make it smooth.

Most importantly, as a shark, she has two girlcocks!
