@atpfm I’ll tell you what’s crazy. That Apple has moved me down their chip lines every year. I got my 14” MBP M1 Pro in 2021 and it’s killer. If I had to replace it today, I’m better served by an M5 w/ 32GB RAM than an M5 Pro w/ 24GB RAM for 4K video and editing 60MP raw photos in Adobe Lightroom. I don’t know how Apple has pulled it off but if M1 Pro owners are honest with themselves, the Plain Jane M5 (and future M chips) will address their needs just fine, at several hundred dollars less.

@siracusa @marcoarment @caseyliss @atpfm How you guys gonna forget my MINI?! Half of Apple’s employees drive one.
@siracusa can’t innovate anymore, my ass.

@overcastfm Overcast for Mac bug where if you click the chapter list in a pod, the app immediately crashes. Happens on 3 different Macs with any podcast I try, so guessing this isn't a one off.
@overcastfm hey Marco, seeing an issue using Overcast on macOS Sequoia where if I click the chapter list in any podcast, the app crashes immediately. Not sure if just me or more broadly happening.
@gruber thoughts on Apple perhaps pursuing Magnesium for future Vision products? It’s the lightest metal, as light as plastic while feeling premium. It can be strong when alloyed, and a complete pain in the ass to work with at temperature - burns easily, which Apple especially loves as a challenge.
@siracusa @atpfm Representing you at JNUC ‘23!

Please get a good lawyer and sue the fuck out of MTG. She defamed you in public. Legal definition of defamation:

Any false communication that harms a person's reputation; decreases the respect, regard, or confidence in which a person is held; or induces disparaging, hostile, or disagreeable opinions or feelings against a person.

Defamation may be a criminal or civil charge. It encompasses both libel and spoken statements called slander.
