I needed to tighten a screw that was on a piece of office furniture up against a wall. I couldn't move the furniture. I needed a *really short* screwdriver.

It turns out a screwdriver bit did the trick.

I was surprised to find that I don't actually own a hardcopy of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Whaaaaat?

I poked around. I have an ebook version that I bought for my old Palm computer.

It's DRM protected. Sigh.

The *only* way I can figure out to open it is to

* Open a Palm OS emulator
* Install the eReader app
* Install my eBook

and then I can read my book in the emulator.

How stupid is that?

And yet how wonderful.

The font is pretty ugly, I must say.
