I know Civil War is extreme; I meant it more as in if you genuinely believed people would be put into camps, enslaved, killed, etc. you’d go all out cause fuck it the worst will happen anyway. Or at the very least you’d do your best to win the election, not trying your hardest to lose. In this specific scenario the Democrats should be the ones to want Civil War (if the things they believed were true). And I agree, online vs real life sentiment is very different. If you believed what people said online Kamala would’ve won everywhere and even turned Texas and Florida blue.

If the Republicans were truly the end of democracy and the start of a dictatorship, the Dems should’ve put up an actually likeable, non-flip floppy, youngish white man with some simple policies that the average person can understand as a candidate through proper primaries without Joe ever running for reelection - and they would’ve had this in the bag stress free. But they didn’t care for probably the most important election of recent history. We have the same story going on here right now with Lasconi & Simion. Lasconi is our version of Kamala and Simion Trump, and because of USR’s (Lasconi’s party) decisions we’re probably going to end up with Simion.
