@platinumtulip Combination of pihole at the network level and Orion browser with it’s limited built in adblocking. The extension support also means YouTube and Twitch are much more usable and ad free. uBlock Origin can’t work though (Apple limitation), which is sad

Having read @gruber’s posts related to this one, I was left stuck wondering why I felt something was wrong. So I tried putting words to digital paper:

We Should Be Asking Why | R H

Recently I saw John Gruber share two posts in regards to AI art as of late. The first is about a comic I had read...

Another month, another tab dump

Seeing how long it takes to build up a backlog of tabs to dummy this may not be weekly or monthly. It’ll happen though! 1....

@hazelnoot It was a fun time before that reboot (they work in my app now)
@atomicpoet Let's not also forget @rizzi’s Reeder app -- been using it since last summer and it's a wonderful experience (recently added better Pixelfed support, too)
There's a lot of nuance as to why. I've been debating writing up a blog post on "AT vs ActPub" but that'll require a day I have the time to flesh those thoughts out for paper. Thanks to Reeder, I can use both at the same time but bsky is where I'm more inclined to post things.
I've been focusing more of my time over at bsky since that's where more artists have solidified their presence since this past Autumn. I also just find it a much comfier experience than I've had on the Fediverse.
I wish it was as easy to find other users here (right now) as it is to find hundreds of artists at a time on bsky. So it goes.
Slimming down my follower count by a lot today. Dormant accounts, and artists/friends that update bsky more often or moved there months ago.
