The tornado continues to give its little miracles. No idea where this came from, if it was buried under an uprooted tree, blown away from someone else's house, left by a contractor, etc... Kinda want to try and clean it up a little, but I don't want to damage the paint any more.
T Bear had a run in with Mom and Dad's dog a few months back and was missing for a couple of weeks. Dad found him in a flower bed, and we brought him home, altho with some severe neck injuries. The other day, baby was handing me all his toys from out the crib and when he handed me the bear, I suddenly realized I was holding two separate pieces.
Got him sewn back up yesterday. Not too shabby!
I felt pretty depressed after my psych visit yesterday, so i engaged in some retail therapy. I've been working on tornado cleanup all summer and have a) beat the hell out of some of my tools (see first pic) and b) realized my life would be a lot easier if I just used the appropriate tool for the job.
I've been trying to id this gal for a week or two. I have a sparkleberry cutting I'm trying to root to transplant, and noticed she was building a web on it. My dad said it was probably a spider mite, and that's a strong argument, but watching her behavior (and the fact that the plant isn't completely overrun with mites... Yet) really makes me think she's a spider. Ran into the genus Wulfila in the "ghost spider" family and there's some strong similarities.
