As biotechnological material object, medium and organism, photochemical film can -through its physicality and processuality- relate directly to its environment and vice versa. This programme presents films that, through materialist gestures capture and participate in encounters with landscape or body both as processes within a larger whole.
There will be premieres by labodoble and Jan Kulka.
Kulka will also present the 16mm State-of-the-Art projector developed with LaborBerlin.
OpenScreen session (Super8, 8mm and 16mm) on Saturday April 25 offers a space for your surprise-films and work-in-progress (or -regress)!
