@TheSpoonyOne I mean you’re not wrong but it’s the equivalent of someone registering your name on another forum than the one you registered too.
You can’t really stop it. This isn’t a centralized platform like twitter or facebook. You registered for mastodon.art, not mastodon.social for example.
If you want, you can self host your own mastodon on your own domain and close down registration to JUST YOU. Many people do this, and you’re still discoverable through fediverse
