This approach could make competition more fair and inclusive - without invasive DNA tests. Because at the end of the day, it's not your chromosomes that determine performance - it's your body, your training, and your ability.

Maybe it's time to rethink how we define fairness in sport.

So why do we still organize sports primarily around gender?
What if, instead, we focused on measurable physical attributes - like weight or muscle mass? Imagine competitions structured as lightweight, middleweight, and heavyweight, regardless of gender. Not "men's football" and "women's football", but divisions based on actual physical characteristics.

Controversial take:

There isn't a "trans problem" in sports - but there is a bigger issue we rarely question: the existence of a strict gender divide.

The idea that men's and women's bodies are fundamentally different comes from a time shaped by outdated assumptions about strength and capability. Today, reality is far more nuanced: there are strong and less-strong individuals across all genders. Physical ability exists on a spectrum.

Long time no see.
PocketTerm HW check is done. I selected the LoRa module, audio, and microphone chips to use in next revision. Also, I'll move the keyboard to a separate controller and will use terminal blocks instead of the pins. I have the display for the LCD accessory and working on the code, so expect DOOM demo soon.
As for the other projects, mainly the laptop, I expect to start working on the keyboard while waiting for the second proto of PocketTerm to be manufactured.

No progress on the Pocket Terminal yet. Still don't have time to start FW development due to the main job. But I have switched my Main PC setup to a smaller case, so I now have a lot of free space on the desk - before-and-after photos

First prototype assembled and ready for FW development. I checked the ESP UART, and the battery charger works well. Now need to write some software to check the display and radio module
Made some progress on case 3D prints for the prototype. Buttons are fixed in case, but still movable. I had to use a 0.2 nozzle to make print-in-place possible. The logo to the right of the display is still under finalization. There will probably be a cute squid, and the device's name would be Squid Terminal. Or PocketTerm. I haven't made up my mind yet.
First prototype PCB finalized and ordered. While waiting for the boards, I'll continue to polish the PCB and probably change a few things, like a smaller charging IC, etc. Also working on the case 3D models
Made some progress on the Cardputer project. Layout will be slightly changed on the tracing stage. Also, I am thinking about replacing 128x32 OLED with 212x104 e-ink display, but need to run some performance tests before.
