Without trying to sound like a grandma, I miss the days of AIM and Myspace when it was built around connecting with friends and picking the perfect, angsty song for your customized profile. Also, someone please bring back "top friends." How did that feature not rip seams in the fabric of society??? 😂 #socialmedia

I'll be honest though, I feel like social media has evolved away from people truly interacting and connecting. As an average, day-to-day User, I feel my connections are primarily passive "lurkers" now who watch my stories and send a meme or two. No one posts as much personal content anymore or engages as much. Is it an increase concern for privacy? Or is it a fundamental shift in what people are shown on social media? "Content," entertainment, and advertisements. #socialmedia

What is the next big social media? It might be time for a refresh... Twitter and Meta are decaying and stagnating IMO. #ciaoMeta
