It's #WorldPastaDay but we're still reeling from the effects of the typhoon & I've no time to cook. However, to prove how versatile pasta is, here's something I make when pressed for time. Pasta, fresh milk, grated cheese, and dried oregano. Mix together & microwave! 💯

I tried this Beef Bulgogi Onigirazu from the 7-Eleven across our office building. It's meaty and has enough greens, the rice is dense yet tender. Not knowing what onigirazu meant, I looked it up and found out it is something like an onigiri - a rice ball - but it is flat, like a sandwich.

I loved reading this book! "Unrequited Love: Duterte's China Embrace" by Marites Dañguilan Vitug & Camille Elemia is a blockbuster and it explains many of the things that happened during the previous administration. Copies are selling like hotcakes at the Ateneo de Manila University Press.

I just realised I could have a 20-year old daughter or son by now had I gotten married in 2002 or 2003. Time flies really fast!

Why am I punishing myself? I submitted an abstract for a paper on food, cultural identity, and ecology around an hour ago. I was informed that an individual can submit more than one abstract, perhaps I can have another sent in? Deadline's today, till midnight. I said I will check my files. 😄
