@solcita gorgeous
@mostlycloudyone ahh, thank you
@mvu Yesss! I’ve been considering it. Just have to calculate if it’ll make sense financially in the long run seeing as I burn through at least one insert every 4-6 weeks or so. I’ve been daily journaling for a little over five years and have an archive shelf of all the notebooks. I’m looking at your link now, though!
Happy one year #travelersnotebook anniversary to me! Here’s to 21 inserts and counting!! I did celebrate a few days early, as I was in Portland and went to the partner store, Oblation Papers… stocked up on a bunch of new inserts. My life has been so enriched by starting this journey a year ago today! And special thanks to my #fountainpens for making it all happen 😉
@Chip_Unicorn @paradoxmo exactly. They’re made for receipt paper. Let’s limit it to that haha
@Suspect_Similar this is very true. And don’t get me started on how a lot of schools aren’t even teaching cursive anymore! How are we supposed to read source material? But ballpoints certainly don’t help lol
@paradoxmo wow! Nice points. Thanks!!
@art_buckweiser yes, that makes sense. For me, it’s signing a receipt
@Brad can’t wait to see what magic you make. Do keep us posted!
I’m sure a lot of us #fountainpens users have OPINIONS about ballpoints. I certainly do! But as someone who is also a cursive writer, I found this article in the Atlantic fascinating. Thought you would, too. Do you have any use for ballpoints? https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2015/08/ballpoint-pens-object-lesson-history-handwriting/402205/
How the Ballpoint Pen Killed Cursive

Thicker ink meant it didn't smudge as easily as its predecessor, the fountain pen—but it also made writing by hand more physically demanding.
