@mmetcalfe yeah, in the interests of future export/migration capability I try to keep everything in a single text frame. With the excellent OneMore add-in it’s also possible to import/export markdown. https://www.makeuseof.com/increase-functionally-onenote-with-onemore-add-in/ Multiple text frames come in handy occasionally though (e.g. collaborative activities).

@mmetcalfe I switched from Evernote to OneNote back in 2018. I looked at Notion, but was put off because offline capability was limited (for working offline and offline backups in at least a semi-open format). Maybe that’s improved now. I do still miss some things about Evernote (custom tags!), but I’m happy with OneNote, although the MacOS version is half the Windows version.

@annehole I think our instance is also having problems updating local feeds. I read that *somewhere* on mastodon, but now I can’t find it because it doesn’t seem possible to search the content of posts on Mastodon (not currently anyway). Plus, I’m primarily using the mobile apps and there’s no view of local versus federated feeds via that route, just my home feed.
