On Saturday, May 24th, we had the pleasure to receive one award and one merit for Canicule and Evert consecutively in the Original Typeface category at the EBGE 2025 Greek Graphic Design and Visual Communication Awards. A wholehearted thank you to the committee for the honour and the recognition.

Canicule Display by Kostas Bartsokas - Future Fonts

Canicule Display was forged in the Mediterranean summer heat. A vivid serif with an organic flair echoing memories of the pen, where the elongated serifs of the lighter weights gradually become glyphic as the weight increases. Canicule Display currently comes in 18 styles, ranging from Thin to Black with corresponding italics and supports extended Latin (including Vietnamese). You also get two variable fonts to play with (roman, italic). Canicule aspires to become a full fledged family which will include a text companion for smaller sizes, and Cyrillic and Greek support, possibly – but not necessarily – in this specific order.
