Surprise of the day: I have a Windows box for photo editing, but @opensuse and #FreeBSD are also installed for syslog-ng testing. Today I updated openSUSE to Leap 15.5 RC and FreeBSD to 13.2. After upgrade #nVidia is completely broken on #openSUSE, but works perfectly well on #FreeBSD 😉

Looks like Signal’s macOS desktop client no longer suffers from the “minimum constant 5% CPU utilisation even at idle” problem it has had for a long time is now gone as of a couple builds ago.

macOS apps that don’t support Sparkle, the #OpenSource Update Framework for integrated update discovery should be banned.
