I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for another teaching year. Hopefully with less interruptions and challenges than last year, but who am I kidding!

In these last few days before all the teachers are back I use the time to plan Term 1 to within an inch of its life so that I can feel like I am in control.

Well, that is the end of another school year for me and what a ride it was. Lots to learn, but I fear that although the teachers adjust and pivot many schools do not.
Such a shame that we are not learning from the last few years and using it to improve our practice.

I am looking forward to a few days of down time before the Christmas chaos starts
