@atpfm @marcoarment @siracusa @caseyliss #askatp I have an old 2015 5K iMac, a bit slow but still useful for basic office/web browsing. It is better/safer to use the latest supported macOS (12) or use sequoia (15) with OCLP? 12 is older, unsupported by Apple but works with SIP active and no hacks; 15+oclp is newer and supported by Apple but needs hacks to run on iMac17,1 and a downgraded SIP. @viticci The lack of an AI agent on iPadOS is a huge downside, in my opinion. The gap between macOS and iPadOS has only grown wider. Claude Code (and its siblings) is the best thing to happen to PCs for power users since the web.
As far as I’m concerned, buying an iPad today, if you’re even vaguely interested in vibe coding, is the wrong choice. Instead of improving, the iPad has suddenly fallen much further behind PCs than before.
