Virginia Beach VA native, Somerville MA is home now, want more homes and fewer cars here (and everywhere tbh). Dad, Actuary, Celtics fan
What I hate is that mainstream sports is still on Twitter. And the TV broadcast references Twitter and usually Twitter only.

Somerville folks (and heck Medford and Cambridge too)- Convenient place to get a holiday tree and support our preschool.

We’re also gonna start offering a delivery option via bike for the first time this year. Details coming as soon as…we figure out all the details!

I live in deepest blue #Somerville MA and I have completed the assignment…of voting YES on Question 6 to increase the Community Preservation Act property tax surcharge from 1.5% to 3% to fund Affordable Housing, Open Space, and Historic Preservation.

I voted for Harris/Walz too but who cares in MA

You always see signs like this at zoos and science museums and the like…but rarely any real effort to make it possible for people to get to the place via any method other than a car.
I use the new “protected” bike lane on Milk St in Boston most weekdays. Did Boston use flexposts so delivery trucks could run right over them?
There could have been 1000 last straws but this was the one that finally got me to deactivate my X account. It’s tough- a lot of the accounts I want to follow are there. But the platform owner is an awful man and I’m done being another set of eyeballs helping support him in even the smallest way

As of this week, I have loaned out E-Bikes from the Camberville E-Bike Lending Library for a total of 52 weeks of borrowing time since the start of October.

Given the typical price of renting an e-bike in the community is $400/week, this means that I have saved members of the community $20,000 in rental fees.

@mattcasey lol- ok clearly failed to send a DM on here. But if you’re seeing this and interested lmk!

@mattcasey actually gonna give mastodon another go.

Hope the summers going well…not sure if you saw this event here?
