one week in... and I'm still mainly on Twitter
looking through some open source projects for #androiddev feels like the community is incapable of creating anything that doesn't rely on reactive java
why is there Richard Stallman in my timeline?
@amasikel I will have a read thanks. I see that what used to be called hexagonal architecture, and then onion architecture now gets called clean architecture :)

I'm quite underwhelmed with all the MVP #androiddev implementations I've seen.

Is everyone just making Activity/Fragment their view? Is everyone pushing Activity lifecycle concern onto their presenters? Is there no good way to deal with Dialogs and navigation?

How are #androiddev folks here approaching clean UI architecture

I'm looking at MVP but the lifecycle of the UI layer, and how views/activities get their state (re)stored over process restart is posing some interesting challenges, especially when we start layering them (showing dialogs etc)

also, no way I'd be able to fit that last message in 140 characters. Nor should I be forced to
current status - trying to figure out why after upgrading to Kotin 1.1.1 my test apk suddenly now also has un-proguard-ed classes from my production app (as opposed to having just tests and instrumentation like previously)
@hhariri I'm trying to also find different people to follow here than on Twitter so it ends up with a different character and vibe than merely becoming the clone or negative space of my twitter stream. With one notable exception for you my friend :)

@hhariri I must say not having to constantly force yourself to be super terse because 'ooops guess what - you just hit 140 characters limit' is a bigger deal to me than I thought it would be.

Stockholm syndrome I guess
